
FeedAChild HIV/AIDS Policy
FeedAChild acknowledges the seriousness of the HIV epidemic and will support staff, volunteers, parents, and children infected and affected by HIV and Aids.
FeedAChild affirms that:

HIV Status will not be the reason to exclude any child from our NPO.

An employee’s HIV status will not affect their employment opportunities and working conditions.

No staff member, volunteer, parent, or child will be required to undergo HIV testing.

Staff, volunteers, parents, and children are under no obligation to inform the FeedAChild organization of his/her HIV or AIDS status at any time.

The HIV or AIDS status of staff, volunteers, parents, and children will always remain confidential.

Universal precautions are being practiced at the FeedAChild centers to prevent the spreading of infectious diseases and HIV.

Staff, volunteers, and children living with HIV/AIDS have the same rights and responsibilities as all staff and children.

The staff and children living with HIV/AIDS are protected against discrimination.

All staff members, volunteers, parents, and children will be given the necessary love and support required for them to lead healthy lifestyles.
